This is a hard one; as I only watched bits of Stephen Colbert on FX but judging from his popularity, he is well loved by fans and almost everyone. Jon Stewart was my daily drug, but I haven't sat down and watched him for a while.

Ok, what happens when a guy in his 40s from South Carolina makes a living of making millions of people laugh every night; then invents a word in the English language (correct me if I'm wrong); then has his very own ice cream that I never tasted yet; and lastly writes a book?
